About
- CSTR is a Continuous Strirred tank Reactor to convert complex organic wastes anaerobically into a useful biogas with methane as the energy carrier. The CSTR biogas plant been supplied by us are based on state-of-art Swiss Technology which is specially designed to suit cane sugar molasses based distillery spentwash which is common in India & other tropical countries. Nowadays, CSTR is widely accepted in Dairy industries. CSTR (Constinuous stirring type reactor) is a technology developed by EcoYou(formerly Ecoboard) in collaboration with Sulzer to treat obnoxious Spentwash(Distillery effluent). The CSTR biogas technology (Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor) is simple and easily recognizable.
Why CSTR?
Its distinctive features are that the diameter of the biogas reactor is greater than the height for higher retention times, heating, SS lamella packs, gas holder, vertical & horizontal agitators. Biogas reactors are made of either reinforced concrete or steel. Efficient Mixing: CSTR technology ensures continuous and thorough mixing, boosting microbial activity and biogas production. Stable Operation: Offers a consistent environment for microorganisms, leading to reliable biogas output. Versatile Feedstock: Capable of processing various organic materials, making it widely applicable. Scalable Control: Easily adjustable to optimize biogas production for different scales and feed types.
