About
- Biogas a clean, renewable, and reliable source of baseload power in place of coal or natural gas. Baseload power is consistently produced to meet minimum power demands; renewable baseload power can complement more intermittent renewables. Using stored biogas limits the amount of methane released into the atmosphere and reduces dependence on fossil fuels. CBG (Compressed Biogas) Plant - Biogas is purified/ up-graded to remove carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide gases water vapour and compressed as Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG), which has methane (CH4) content of more than 90%.
Why CBG?
Compressed biogas (CBG) offers several advantages, including environmental sustainability by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, utilizing organic waste, and promoting cleaner air quality. It’s a renewable and clean energy source, promoting energy independence and reducing dependency on fossil fuels. Additionally, CBG can generate economic opportunities through job creation and supporting local agriculture.
